The Volta Pads are locally designed and produced by a dedicated team of women. These women have been trained to undertake the cutting, sewing and health protocols in the pad manufacturing process.

 

In addition to providing women and girls with accessible, affordable and sustainable menstrual pads – the Volta Pads project also provides employment and economic autonomy to the women who produce them.
